ABOUT ME

Hi my name is Amanda, and I am a Columbus Ohio based photographer. I truly enjoy working with people, especially kids and families. It is an honor when a client selects me to capture the special moments in their lives. My purpose as an artist is to look for natural and organic moments, striving to put you at ease and feel comfortable during our session. I want you to have the best photography experience with me. Columbus State is where I earned a degree in Digital Design and Graphics. This is where I first developed my skills in advertisement, marketing, and graphic design. Examples of the type of graphics I specialize in are; logos, signs, flyers, posters, brochures, t-shirts, social media images, vector transformations, and a little bit of web design. A lot of my clients are small businesses, entrepreneurs, or just a friend that needs help brining an idea to life. We will work together to come up with a final product you can be proud of. While in college I also studied black & white photography and digital photography. I fell in love with the craft and thoroughly enjoyed every assignment. One of the assignments was to photograph people, that was the one that made me realize photography was going to be a big part of my life. My nieces and nephew were my subjects, and after showing the results to my sister she said to me "Amanda you are so talented! You should seriously do this for a living". Her words and the positive feedback I got from my teachers gave me the confidence and motivation to pursue photography as a second career.
